FAR 626 - The Shepherd Collection of Roanoke, VA

Farmer Auctions is proud to present the collection of Cliff Shepherd and his late wife Sue Shepherd. Upon walking into their house for the first time one thing was apparent, they loved to fish. Sue was a fisherman’s daughter from Cape Hatteras Island in North Carolina. Cliff and Sue met in a local fishing club there. The influence of the island can be seen in the decor, signed artwork, and numerous books about the outer banks (some signed!). Cliff really enjoyed working with his hands and his extensive tool collection is a testament to that. Besides Sue, he also had a deep love for Hot Rods and the automotive world. This collection has something for everyone including everything from decor, to furniture, to books (including many on World War II). Collectors will love Cliffs extensive pocket knife collection too.
