A superb type set collection highlighted by over 50 gold coins. Partially collected by former West Virginia congressman Joe L. Smith, Sr. and continued by his son Joe L. Smith, Jr. Joe, Jr. was a prominent businessman in his own right and one of the original founders of WJLS radio in Beckley. Featuring: A vast array of gold coins, GSA Morgan dollars, many type coins especially selected for collector/investor purposes that have been certified including the majority of the gold coins. Bust and seated Liberty coins of high grades including some uncirculated issues make this auction truly special. Joe Smith, Sr. was also a bank President in Beckley, WV and included in this collection are several 1929 National Currency notes that bear his signature, most of which grade VF-VF+.
