Saying Goodbye to a Historic Roanoke landmark business........The Roberts family and Yellow Cab have provided taxi service to the Roanoke area since 1933. This auction features the sale of the entire 2020 fleet of taxi cabs including an amazing 1962 Studebaker Lark taxi from the 1962 Yellow Cab fleet. Also available are luxury airport town cars, and passenger vans. A large assortment of tools and equipment from the Yellow Cab automotive garage is also featured. Rounding out the collection are unique items from the taxi business (light toppers, meters, trunk ads, etc.). We are humbled to have been selected for this final sale from this landmark business. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: All buyers of taxi cabs agree that all decals, lettering , phone numbers and reference to Yellow Cab must be removed or obliterated from the car before it can be used on the highway or during the course of any future business.
