IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: due to a gas log burning malfunction several years ago, which caused the gas to burn incompletely, the interior of Mrs. Leftwich's home was covered with a soot-like film. Therefore the majority of the books in this auction are covered with a certain level of coating of that soot film. Mrs. Leftwich was a voracious reader and lifetime scholar.
