DENNIS CROWLEY COLLECTION OF BASEBALL MEMORABILIA Dennis and his wife, Linda, reside in Roanoke, VA, and relocated from Rochester, NY in 2000. He retired as an administrator at St. John Fisher University and Linda as a Speech Language Pathologist. Dennis began collecting baseball cards/memorabilia at a VERY young age beginning with signed baseballs from the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals and at one point had accumulated more than 1,000 items ; however, due to advancing age and his wife's insistence, he's finally decided to part with his baseball "treasures"! His collection includes game used bats, balls, gloves, baseball related advertising, pennants, autographs-- Jackie Robinson, Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, Walter Johnson, Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Roberto Clemente, Willie Mays, Ted Williams, Stan Musial, etc.--- signed baseball by Ron Necciai who struck out 27 batters in a nine inning game in 1952 - numerous baseball books, magazines and publications, signs, posters, plus a number of things he didn't even know he had prior to cataloging everything!
